The momentum is building for successful development of the West Road Fire Station site - and now the community is set to come together and look at the plans, at a special open day at the Fire Station site on Saturday 8 August, 1-4pm.

Centre West and Groundwork (South Tyneside and Newcastle) are working to develop a landmark eco-friendly building, with an emphasis on community, enterprise and training. It's all about meeting the community's needs - and that's why we've invited local people to come along, see how our plans are shaping up and share ideas about the kind of services the building should offer.
